The terms “I”, “me”, and “my” refer to Akachi Braids Artistry. The terms “you,” and “your” refer to clients.

Travel fee:

0-10 miles: +$20

11-20 miles: +$40

over 20 miles $1/mile

You will be informed of your travel estimate during your pre-appointment consultation.

 

Work space: Please create a clean and safe work space for me to perform efficiently, without interruption. Clients must move/restrain pets and avoid smoking or using controlled substances during the appointment.

Wash & Blow dry: As a braider, I am legally unable to perform Wash & Blow Dry services in Georgia. To ensure a pleasant and pain-free Akachi braiding experience, please have your hair washed, detangled, and air-dried (in large twists, hair bands, thread or braids). A blow-out (stretching of air-dried hair) is complimentary with your style.

Hair length: To meet Akachi Braids’ high-quality standards, clients must have at least 3-4 inches of hair, depending on the style. Uploading a photo of your hair will help me advise accordingly.

Cleanup (Home-service clients): I respect your home and will ensure a complete cleanup of my workspace after the appointment.

Lateness: To maintain my time commitments, please ensure your/your minor’s hair is washed, prepped, and ready by the appointment time. There is a 15-minute grace period before a late fee of $15 plus $1 for each additional minute after 16 minutes. After 30 minutes, the appointment may be canceled to accommodate other clients.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (applied towards your style) is required to secure your appointment. This covers preparations including hair, accessories, and transportation. The deposit is non-refundable unless Akachi Braids cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment using your initial deposit at no extra charge if done at least 48 hours before the appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be within 30 days of the original date using the original deposit. No call/no show clients may be banned from future bookings.
